Everyone knows
about Black Friday. Well for those who don't know what it is it’s
the day after thanksgiving and stores have many sales that day and lots of
people go to buy things. So I read this article on Black Friday and it says
people surprised retail researches for 2012 as national numbers set sale
records. I read that their survey says that approximately 247 million
people went to Black Friday. It says on average individual shoppers spent about
243 dollars during the Black Friday weekend. People say that shoppers were more
particular this Black Friday. There’s even a person who owns a store and
says that her store was strong in men shirts and ties and jackets and
sweaters for women. Another thing she said was that mostly her customers were
looking for good sales and mostly shopping for themselves. There is another
store owner who says that when she accumulated her numbers they were
down from 2011 Black Friday. The numbers were low but they still did well.
She also said that her store was busy on black Friday and her store
offered buy one get one half-off and people tended to buy a second
item because of the half-off they would get. But she said mostly they were
just shopping. She agreed that people at black Friday seemed to watch how
much money they spend but they still seemed interested in buying
things. A target manger said that there were approximately
2,000 in line before the store opened. The things that were big selling
were electronics. Now you see that there are many sales on Black Friday.
