Black Friday

Black Friday is crazy! It is the worst but best day to go shopping. Black Friday, the day following Thanksgiving Day, traditionally the beginning of early Christmas shopping.On this day, most major retailers open extremely early and offer promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season.Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many non-retail employers also view this day as a holiday along with Thanksgiving, giving their employees the day off, and so it increases the number of potential shoppers. It has been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005, although news reports, which at that time are inaccurate, have described it as the busiest shopping day of the year for a much longer period of time.

 On this day stores open extra early and some people would wait a day before the following time to get the best sales.Black Friday shopping is known for attracting aggressive crowds, with annual reports of assaults, shootings, and throngs of people trampling on other shoppers in an attempt to get the best deal on a product before supplies run out. I observed on the news a man stating, "if anyone pushed me or my family they're getting stabbed." This is just way aggressive and over doing it. Your seriously going to stab someone over sales? Last year there were gun shots in a store and around five people were shot! Also, In 2006, a man shopping at Best Buy was recorded on video assaulting another shopper.Walmart shoppers at a store outside Ohio, quickly flooded in the doors at opening, pinning several employees against stacks of merchandise. Nine shoppers in a California mall were injured, including an elderly woman who had to be taken to the hospital, when the crowd rushed to grab gift certificates that had been released from the ceiling.

During this day, Black Friday, Stores compete to get the most shoppers, so they give out the best deals. These stores may get very competitive. I have heard people say, "Why shop on that night when its dangerous when you can go back the next day?" If you go the next day than all those really good deals are gone and the little deals are left. But some people are just fine with only the little deals, they say, "Its better than getting nothing."

In conclusion, Black Friday is a dangerous, outrageous day to shop. If i was you i would not chose this day to go shopping, even though the deals are great. Because it is very dangerous. I would do what everyone else that doesn't care for Black Friday, go on Saturday.
