Gum in School

   Gum in school.I always see someone with gum in school at least five times a day.Students like gum because it has good flavor, doesn't leave crumbs on the floor and you just have to chew. Than just holding it or getting it with a fork or spoon. But teachers don't like it. Because its sticky, hard to get off the floor or under the desks. NO, not or, AND under the desks.You think that  a teacher or a custodian likes to pick up old or sometimes wet, sticky gum that came from someones mouth? That's why there are rules at school. I really don't know that the students are going to follow the rules.And I don't know the rules also. Because I don't take gum to school. But I did hear that if you get caught with gum, you have to serve a after school clean up. Either you have to pick up trash or get a can, a full can of  gum. You have to scoop up the gum from under the desks or outside. I personally think that,that is disgusting. But they could avoided that I they didn't chew the gum in class. Than instead outside after school. Even that students know the consequences, I still think that the students are still going to chew gum during class or any time during school.
