Thanksgiving is a holiday many people celebrate and its a day were people give their thanks to the world. As I read in Wikipedia thanksgiving is mostly celebrated in the United States and Canada. In Canada its celebrated the second Monday of October but for the U.S. its celebrated the fourth Thursday of November. Our U.S thanksgiving history goes all the way back to the protestant reformation. This thanksgiving became very important during King Henry VII rule. So as you can see thanksgiving was very important back then as it is now in this time.
Thanksgiving for us is spending time with you family and getting to catch up with whats being going on their lives. Some even go really far away to visit family they having seen in years and its because they want to see them to tell that hey are thankful for having such a great family. Another think other people do that care for everyone is holding food drives for people who need to eat and have no family to sit down with and celebrate thanksgiving. I bet these people feel cared about when people come to feed them because these people could probably be spending time with their family. But instead are hear feeding some one in need of it. So now that you know these things I hope you do something for thanksgiving that shows what you thankful in your.
